Did you always want to become a baker/patisserie chef? Tell us more about your inspiring journey till here.

As a little girl I spent a lot of time in the kitchen with a beater in one hand and a cake tin in the other. The dough and sugar spilling everywhere and making a mess that I happened to fall in love with! I grew up organising events at home and planning the menus for the house parties while receiving a lot of praise for these skills from family and friends. Hence, I decided to take up patisserie as a profession.
After my initial graduation, I enrolled myself at the Sophia Polytechnic’s Bakery Course in Mumbai. Thereafter, to enhance my skills further, I joined Le Cordon Bleu London. Studying in one of the most reputed institutes in the world, I learnt the fine art of baking. The last 13 years have been full of hard work and the sweetest of rewards!

What is unique about brand Parfait?

Parfait is known for its exclusivity. We only bake on orders. Everything we prepare is fresh and home-made. Our ingredients are of high quality and are imported from Europe. We customise the orders as per the clients’ requests and requirements.

How do you manage multiple orders since everything is home-made and fresh?

Being a home-baker, I only take limited orders that are taken 48 hours in advance. This ensures that the dessert reaches our clients in all its freshness.

What are the most favourite items on your menu?

All our clients have been very happy with whatever we have given them. But some of the most popular items are our Tiramisu, the Flourless Espresso Tart, the Rosewater Pistachio Tea Cake and the Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel Drizzle Cake. My personal favourites are the Hot Chocolate Fudge Cake and the absolutely “gooey” Chocolate Molten.

Any good news for the diabetics and vegan consumers?

We do take up orders catering to diabetics but as for vegans, we are still working at it.

Anything more?

Lots more coming up on our menu in the coming future. For now, let’s end this on a sweet note 🙂
